Event Description

Join us this Saturday, May 12 for a Bike Rodeo hosted by Safer Roads Ottawa, Ottawa Police, Scouts Canada and Girl Guides of Canada! Come learn about the rules of the road, helmet safety, have your bike inspected by a mechanic, and learn about other fun adventures you can have in your community through Scouting and Guiding.

Please bring your own bike and helmet to the event. Workshops will be run every half hour.

Scouts Canada is a corporation created by an Act of Parliament. Each Council has a say in the governance processes of the corporation through three voting members who are elected pursuant to Policy 1014 (attached to the event). All Scouts Canada members born before December 31, 2004 are eligible to serve as Voting Members and to vote for their Council’s Voting Members.

Event Description

May the 4th be with you and Revenge of the 5th

RSVP is held on May 4-6th 2018, and is a camp run by Rovers for Venturers, Scouts, Rangers & Pathfinders.


The activities we run are archery, high and low ropes, pioneering, canoeing, kubb and tug 'o war and there will be a badge trade-o-ree.
 
Saturday night we will have a dance, fire (fire regulations permitting) and chocolate fondue.
 
We will supply the chocolate, you supply the fruit or anything else that you want to dip.

World Scout Jamboree 2019

For WJ '19, there will be no Council-level contingents. Rather, there will be one Scouts Canada National contingent. For information on this contingent and WJ '19, please visit http://www.scouts.ca/wj19/index.html.
