In this exciting volunteer management role, you will be supporting a team of local commissioners to help them expand the membership, recruit new volunteers, create a culture of safety, and run incredible programs. As Area Commissioner, your task is to identify the needs of your volunteers, help to mentor and coach them to achieve their goals, and provide feedback to senior volunteers/staff to make Scouting even better for youth!

Responsibilities include:

  • Fostering growth of membership
  • Managing quality programs for 12 groups
  • Providing good customer service to shareholders
  • Ensuring positive communication throughout the organization
